We have a team of five specialist music lawyers. Between us we have a wealth of experience and knowledge of all aspects of the music business, working mostly for the independent and “talent led” side of the industry.

On the business side we act for independent record and publishing companies, managers and new start ups.

Our work has an increasingly global flavour so we have a broad network of international specialist contacts.

We work closely with other members of the firm to provide technology, corporate and litigation advice. Our colleagues in the visual media and reputation management sectors also provide support as our clients’ interests extend into related areas.

Regular transactions include major and independent record and publishing deals, live performance, merchandising and sponsorship contracts and sales of companies and catalogues. In addition, we create the legal framework for new and innovative businesses in the digital and technology world.
