Tony Morris

Tony has many years’ experience of advising on a broad range of transactional and contentious matters, primarily focusing on the creative media. He has particular expertise in dealing with contractual and intellectual property matters. Clients include those operating in the Film and TV industries, record companies, music publishers, composers and musicians, brands, book and online publishers, authors and other creatives.

Tony is the author of ‘The Filmmakers’ Legal Guide’ a practical ‘how-to’ book aimed at producers:

He is a guest lecturer on the legal aspects of film & television at the National Film & Television School, for the Raindance Organisation, at the University of Portsmouth and at Sheffield Hallam University.

Tony is a keen proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is an accredited mediator and a qualified arbitrator (MCIArb); he is on the panel of arbitrators of the Independent Film & Television Alliance.
