Anne Mannion

Anne is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution Group having joined the firm in 2009 and completed her training contract at the firm.

Anne’s practice covers a wide range of civil litigation matters including disputes involving intellectual property, reputation and brand management. Anne regularly advises in cases involving copyright, trade mark and advertising law and has acted for clients including internet media companies, advertising agencies, production companies, actors, models and photographers. As part of advising on the legal and regulatory considerations for clients protecting their brands, Anne has helped clients defend product liability and consumer claims. Other recent matters Anne has advised on include the Google Right to be Forgotten, DMCA take downs and social media campaigns.

Anne is a confident court advocate with Higher Rights of Audience and regularly speaks at seminars on intellectual property matters. She is a director of the Association of Photographers and contributed to the legal sections of the Association of Photographers’ guide for professional photographers, Beyond the Lens.

Before starting her career in law Anne was a professional actress and producer and is an alumna of the National Film and Television School and the Media Business School. Anne is a member of Equity and Bafta.
